Wear your safety belt!
In 2009 11% (350 of 3187) of large truck drivers killed in crashes were not wearing their safety belts. Of those killed 27% were ejected from their vehicles.
Hard evidence shows that each year safety belts prevent 15,700 fatalities, 350,000 serious injuries, and $67 billion in costs associated with traffic injuries and deaths.
