Super Service LLC is proud to announce that Owner-Operators now have a compensation choice!
They can choose between $0.93 cents per mile loaded or empty, or receive 65% of line haul revenue for their settlement. A great owner-operator program and now a choice of compensation method!

Super Service will be represented in the 2011 Michigan Truck Driving championships this year by Troy Stanton, John Wildbahn, and Bruce Sommer. They will be held 6/24 and 6/25 in Lansing Michigan. State level winners get to participate in the national contest in Orlando, FL.

Please welcome Robert "Bobby" Allen to the Super Service team. Bobby will be coming on as the Director of Maintenance, based out of our Somerset, KY office. Bobby has over 30 years in the industry and most recently was the maintenance leader for Danny Herman Trucking, where he was named the 2009 Maintenance Professional of the Year by the Tennessee Trucking Association. Bobby has a diverse maintenance background, having worked in both service and fleet maintenance as a mechanic, service manager, shop operations manager and director of maintenance.

We are pleased to announce we will be purchasing an additional 250 new tractors this year. We are working with manufacturers to have all 250 in service by November of this year. These 250 new trucks will be replacements for 250 units in our fleet currently.

We are pleased to announce Jim True has joined Super Service LLC as our Director of Recruiting. Jim has vast experience in recruiting, safety and human resources. Jim will be based in Grand Rapids. A former law enforcement officer, Jim has been in trucking for over 20 year.

We are pleased to announce Rick Earl has joined our team as our safety leader. Rick is a proven safety leader with over 25 years of operational, human resources and safety experience in the truck load and tanker segments of our industry. Rick holds a Masters Degree from Central Michigan University and Bachelors from Indiana University. His primary carrier experience has been with Schneider, Arnold and most recently RaceTrac, a large petroleum fuel hauler and convenience store chain.

We are pleased to announce Paul Flack has joined our team as the Vice President of Sales. Paul is a proven industry leader with over 30 years experience in truck load sales and operations. Paul spent 25 years with Schneider after graduation from college in a variety of key sales and operational positions. Paul went on to fill key leadership roles at Koch and Dart and will be a tremendous boost to our sales and operational teams.

The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance will hold its annual Roadcheck event June 7-9, CVSA said in a statement.
The 72-hours event will bring roadside inspectors to more than 1,000 checkpoints on highways across North America to monitor truck compliance with safety regulations.
